Friday night I took pictures of the first varsity game of the season. We played at a rival school and had a good crowd come out. The game began much as last season went as we got the ball on a punt deep in the opponents territory only to have them intercept the first pass and score a couple of plays later. Unlike last year the offense was able to answer. By halftime we had scored 28 points, eight points more than last year’s total in 10 games.
The shot above was taken right after the opening kickoff as the teams lined up for the first play of the season.
