As I walked into the living room I heard Socks making a noise and knew he was watching a bird. When I went to the window I saw a dove below and Socks was watching him closely. I took several shots of the dove and of socks. I like this one with the reflection in the window.

We spent the weekend in Roanoke celebrating Mavis’ 80th birthday. We had a great time and managed to keep a couple of surprises up our sleeves including having Jennifer travel with us and Dena and I singing in church Sunday morning. This was one of my favorite shots taken of the reaction to Jennifer’s gift — a stuffed dog singing the James Brown hit “I Feel Good” complete with wagging tail.
