Ready for our Close Up

I love the DirecTV feature of being able to set up the DVR over the internet. Before going to bed Monday night I logged in and set up the DVR to record the Today show on Tuesday morning. On Wednesday I took a picture of the screen and on the left you can see Dena and you can see me taking a photo of the camera guy, who was upset that the girl taking pictures of folks with signs had walked right into his shot.

Today Stars

The final day of our trip to NYC was Tuesday and despite not getting back to the hotel until after 11:30 Monday night we were up at 6:00 a.m. Tuesday morning and outside Rockafeller Center at 7:00. We were briefly on TV as they panned the ‘crowd’ (which was not real large due to temperatures in the upper 20′s.) The shot above was a quick posed shot as Meredith Vieira shook hands with the fans.

Under the Ground in NYC

Monday morning we took the Metro to Times Square and the students involved in the DemandTec competition entered the NASDAQ building and got to work. Dena and I took the subway a few more times to visit B&H Photos and Grand Central Terminal. Monday evening was great as we dressed up and attended the opening performance of “Stiffelio” at the Metropolitan Opera.

And We’re Off

Took this shot out the window at the airport as we waited to board the first leg of our flight to NYC. Although short the trip kept us busy with a Broadway show, trip to the Met, and much more.
