The Class A farm team for the World Champion Red Sox is based here in Greenville and plays in a stadium that is a smaller scale of Fenway Park. The stadium is now named Fluor Field in the West End. I recently went with a group from church to a game and took my camera. The clown worked to fire the crowd up but the Greenville Drive fell to the Augusta Greenjackets.

While I was out running errands today I decided to go downtown to the park on the Reedy River and take a few pictures. The park is in the middle of town and is very picturesque. Many unusual flowers are in bloom and you can see pictures on my Flickr site by clicking on the photo.

This is one of my favorite pictures. Dena and I went to the Greenville Zoo over Spring Break last March. The weather was great and the orangutans were out. The male and baby were visible while the female was hiding under a blanket. I got this shot of the baby just taking a stroll and enjoying the day.
